History: Born to a Tailor, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Galiena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Galiena. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

History: Richard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She got into the Map Maker business at a young age. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and balancing her hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult
