History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Hugolina took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up hammer and armor she uses now. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Clerebold was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
