History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered giants who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and her religion dominates her actions

History: Gifted from a young age, Jacoba studied abroad. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
