History: Isabella was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Isabella never married again. History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by giants. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ahlyssa is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
