Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the north to a Slave Trader, Emeny learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Rosamund was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
