History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He worked as a nervous Mayor and found it very stressful. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Aline and her spouse have recently divorced.
