History: Rosalind was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
