History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Slave Trader but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mary grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mary. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
