However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'11" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her blonde hair is long and unkept. Her brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Isabella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: This woman is dressed in earthy colors with a grey and red handkerchief worn on her left side, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Dyer business.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A freak accident while working with her Bounty Hunter father left her crippled. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to get a good night's sleep
