History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Maynild alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
