History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She has dyed her greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady brown eyes.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.
