History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Elysande alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Raymond never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Simon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
