History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.
