History: Chad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Priest, but he got bored and became a Soapmaker. He has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.

History: Lewis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Sage, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody.
