History: He was born in a small island village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Aldous took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for her, and Matilda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gifted student she started as a Beggar, but she got bored and became a Priest. She has worked as a Priest like her mother before her.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to share knowledge with the world
