Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Being a Spy kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Ida was born the youngest of three triplets. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
