She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carpenter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Matilda took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up dagger and armor she uses now. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Hubert hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
