History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Mary was born with her father's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mary grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mary. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
