History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Conrad's homeland. Conrad decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Barber born in the past three hundred years. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Gifted from a young age, Kyle studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kyle grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kyle. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Kyle was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: She was born in the north. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ploughman.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and further expansion of business
