History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. William was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Chad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
