Personality: Juliana wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... The war was a terrible time for her, and Juliana does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born in the south. Ermina was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Soapmaker. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: John is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
