After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
