History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alex grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Mary never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
