Personality: Jocelyn is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Jocelyn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Jocelyn was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sarah fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
