History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: Randal is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a Farmer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
