Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Ida was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Gifted from a young age, Randal studied abroad. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
