History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind.
