Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Armorer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Sailor mother left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
