History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ahlyssa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Mason arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Mason. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Avelina is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. After a long history of fighting, Avelina and her spouse have recently divorced.
