Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Jeweler but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Balimaar has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of a Sailor, who enjoyed hunting, Eloise was taken on many hunting expeditions. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
