History: Joan was born the youngest of three triplets. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Marshal but believes her peers are too gung-ho.
History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
