Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His silver hair is singed and shortened. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.
Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolf grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Her blonde hair is lengthy. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is a great chef.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a black cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his small black hat.
Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is obsessed with his god.
History: He comes from a rich western family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Human compassion; and he is greedy

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Mayor, but he got bored and became a Cook. He has achieved small success as a Cook.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
