Personality: He is a Shepherd first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Dean learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is wracked by social anxiety
