He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized emerald on his right hand. His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded.
