History: The child of a Barber, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting orcs, the young Bertram began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her head has been shaved. Her eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she has a crush on the local miller

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Trym enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
