His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Adam took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Elysande's homeland. Elysande decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Hadwisa was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with her sister.
