History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: 5'5" and muscular, this western woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her golden hair is heavily combed to the right. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Emma was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing a long, white, dusty cloak. His hair is short and black. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roger does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with his Unemployed mother left him crippled. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Unemployed; and he feels kind of lost in life
