Her brown eyes peer out from beneath her feathered tan hat.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Matilda lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bather but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bather arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bather for the past few years.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears just a grey suit. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
