History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Gilbert was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Tanner, who enjoyed hunting, Susannah was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'5". She is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. She has dyed her greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. Her amber eyes peer out from beneath her deerstalker blue hat.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Conrad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.
