History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Interpreter. He tends to his Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Oriel was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Tailor. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Giselle and her spouse have recently divorced.
