Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Thomas was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
