History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Through the years after Katherine was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Katherine's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her silver hair, when down, is lengthy. Her brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is a Blacksmith first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Eva is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Eva never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a white costume with the symbols of the sun god on her torso. She wears a feathered hat to cover her moderate length auburn hair. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jane grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jane. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
