History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Gomory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
