History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
