Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a glaive on her belt. Her brown hair is braided into rings. She has a dull look in her hazel eyes.
Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. After coming to the age of reason, Margery took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Description: She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She carries with her a set of shields on her belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. Her head has been shaved. Her eyes are a pleasant blue.
Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Helen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy

Description: This slender man stands about 5'0". He wears a worn and beaten armor. He wears his golden hair down. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a pastel coat with violet slacks. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge
