History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He very much looks the part of a Painter. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears his white hair up. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.

History: Gerard was born with his mother's beautiful face. His first spouse was a Barkeep, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He tends to his Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
