Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a tan tunic with black highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around her shoes. She has wavy brown hair. She wears an eyepatch.
Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Ahlyssa never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: He is a Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Guy was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Guy's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Guy and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears a colorful flower in his blonde hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.
