Personality: Jacoba speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Jacoba is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. Being a Guard kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Beatrice was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She became a Engraver soon after.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with his Gardener mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears a green vest and prefers tan and grey shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her chestnut hair is wavy and long. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are hazel.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Isabella embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She has all her life been fascinated with music.

History: She was born in the north. Isabella was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Engraver. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
