History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a Cook, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Fortune-teller born in the past three hundred years. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fortune-teller for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
