History: Born in the south to a Sellsword, Shane learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sellsword, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Patrick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and an old rival family wants him found
